The Borla XR-1 Multi-Core racing muffler (MPN 400372) is a universal exhaust component engineered for high-horsepower applications and specifically optimized for the high exhaust gas temperatures of rotary engines. Unlike traditional baffled mufflers, this unit features Borla's patented Multi-Core 4-tube internal design, which is lab-proven to flow more air than a standard straight pipe, providing maximum horsepower and torque gains for competition use.
Built from heavy-duty T-304 stainless steel with a 100% welded chassis, this muffler is designed to resist corrosion and survive the rigors of track use. The compact 12-inch oval body is ideal for custom builds with limited underbody clearance. Sound control is handled by high-temperature continuous-filament fiber (CRF) acoustic material, delivering a deep, aggressive tone without restricting exhaust velocity.
