The Borla XR-1 Racing Sportsman round muffler (MPN 40085) is engineered for high-performance racing applications where space is at a premium. Constructed from premium austenitic stainless steel, this universal muffler utilizes Borla’s patented XR-1 Raceline flow-through technology to maximize exhaust velocity and horsepower without the restrictive baffles of traditional mufflers.
- Design: Compact 5-inch round body profile, ideal for door cars, roadsters, and custom race builds with limited chassis clearance.
- Dimensions: 3-inch center inlet and 3-inch center outlet; 15-inch case length with a 20-inch overall length.
- Materials: Built from high-quality austenitic stainless steel for long-term durability under extreme racing temperatures.
- Installation: Features un-notched necks designed for secure weld-in installation. For clamp-on applications, use a 3-inch wide band clamp (Borla part 18006).
- Versatility: Reversible flow design allows for flexible mounting configurations.
