The Mishimoto Baffled Oil Catch Can Kit is engineered to combat carbon buildup, a frequent issue in direct-injection BMW N20 and N26 engines. By intercepting oil vapors and moisture before they reach your intake tract, this kit protects your intercooler, intake valves, and VANOS system from performance-robbing blow-by. Unlike air-oil separators that drain contaminants back into the crankcase, this system permanently traps blow-by in a serviceable 2-port compact can, preventing it from lowering your effective octane levels.

The kit features a CNC-machined lid with large 3/4-inch barb fittings to match the inner dimensions of the factory CCV hose for unrestricted flow. Inside, a 50-micron bronze filter and internal baffling effectively separate oil particles from crankcase gases. This direct-fit solution includes an application-specific mounting bracket and pre-molded hoses that require no modification to the factory engine cover for a clean, professional installation.
