The Mishimoto MMBCC-CBTWO-RD Compact Baffled Oil Catch Can is engineered to protect your engine by separating oil particles from PCV/CCV air that would otherwise enter your intake system. This compact 2-port solution prevents carbon buildup on valves and protects the intercooler and intake tract from performance-robbing oil blow-by. Featuring a 100-percent billet 6061 aluminum construction, this can is designed for durability and effective filtration in tight engine bays.
Inside the can, an internal air diverter creates turbulence to help oil condense, while an internal baffle prevents collected oil from splashing back out during high-G maneuvers or racing conditions. The air is then forced through a 50-micron bronze filter, ensuring only clean air returns to the engine. Unlike many air-oil separators, this catch can is not heated, allowing low-octane oil and fuel vapors to condense and remain trapped until drained.
