The Moroso 3-Quart Oil Accumulator (MPN 23900) provides critical engine protection by maintaining oil pressure during high-G cornering, hard braking, or rapid acceleration. This unit stores oil under pressure from the engine's main oil gallery and automatically discharges it if the pump's pickup is momentarily uncovered, effectively preventing bearing damage and oil starvation.
