High oil temperatures can lead to premature wear or engine failure in the FA20 DIT engine, especially during aggressive street driving or track sessions. The Mishimoto Direct-Fit Oil Cooler Kit is engineered to supplement the factory liquid-to-liquid cooler, helping to maintain stable operating temperatures and extend engine life. This kit is a full bolt-on solution that requires no modifications to the vehicle for installation.
This kit features a large 19-row cooler mounted in the front bumper for maximum airflow. It includes a CNC-machined aluminum sandwich plate designed specifically to clear the stock oil filter, along with pre-assembled stainless steel braided lines and -10AN fittings for a leak-free connection. Testing has shown an oil temperature drop of approximately 25 degrees Fahrenheit (13.9 degrees Celsius) with minimal pressure loss.
