J&L Oil Separator 3.0 for Select Toyota 2005-2024 (4.0L) Driver Side - Clear Anodized

Fits select 2005-2024 Toyota 4Runner, Tacoma, and FJ Cruiser (4.0L) engines. This J&L Oil Separator 3.0 is designed for the driver side to protect your intake system from oil vapor accumulation.

During normal operation, crankcase pressure is vented back through the intake tract. In the process, oil vapors can accumulate in the intake tube and manifold runners, eventually diluting fuel and lowering effective octane levels. This kit traps those vapors before they reach the engine. Milled from solid billet aluminum, this separator features a knurled tank base for easy removal and an O-ring seal to ensure a leak-free system.

The multi-stage filtration system utilizes a fine mesh stainless steel screen to capture initial vapors, which then pass through a 1/2-inch thick, 1/16-inch aluminum honeycomb filter. This process causes the vapors to condense into droplets heavy enough to fall into the 3 oz reservoir. Regular maintenance is simple: just drain the tank every 2,000 to 3,000 miles.
