The J&L Oil Separator 3.0 is designed to prevent oil vapors from circulating through your intake tract, where they can accumulate in the manifold runners, coat the intake valves, and dilute your fuel's octane. In high-performance supercharged applications like the Shelby GT500, increased crankcase pressure makes an efficient PCV filtration system essential for maintaining engine health and performance.
Milled from solid billet aluminum, this separator features a multistage filtration system. It utilizes a fine mesh stainless steel screen to trap initial vapors, followed by a 1/2-inch thick 1/16-inch aluminum honeycomb filter to consolidate the remaining oil before it drops into the reservoir. The 3 oz tank is designed with a knurled base for easy removal and an O-ring seal to ensure a leak-free fit.
