Fits 2011-2017 Ford Mustang GT models equipped with Roush or VMP superchargers.
The J&L 3.0 Oil Separator is engineered to protect your engine from the performance-robbing effects of oil vapor accumulation. In forced induction applications, increased crankcase pressure pushes oil mist into the intake tract, where it coats intake runners and can even dilute fuel octane levels. This solid billet aluminum separator intercepts these vapors before they reach your intake manifold.
The internal filtration system uses a multi-stage approach: a fine mesh stainless steel screen captures initial vapors, which then pass through a 1/2-inch thick, 1/16-inch aluminum honeycomb filter. This causes the oil to consolidate into droplets heavy enough to fall into the 3 oz reservoir. Maintenance is straightforward thanks to a knurled tank base for easy removal and an O-ring seal to ensure a leak-free system.
