Fits 2013-2017 Ford Explorer Sport. Protect your EcoBoost V6 from the performance-robbing effects of oil blow-by with the J&L Oil Separator 3.0. During normal crankcase venting, oil vapors can accumulate in your intake tube and manifold, coating internal components and effectively lowering your fuel's octane level. This is particularly critical on forced induction engines where crankcase pressures are higher.
Milled from solid billet aluminum, this separator features a multi-stage filtration system designed to capture the finest vapors. Vapors first pass through a fine mesh stainless steel screen before entering a 1/2-inch thick, 1/16-inch aluminum honeycomb filter. This causes the oil to coalesce into larger droplets that fall into the 3oz reservoir. The knurled tank base allows for easy removal during service, and the integrated O-ring ensures a leak-free seal.
