Fits 2014-2020 Ford Fusion SE and SEL models equipped with the 1.5L engine. This J&L Oil Separator 3.0 is designed for passenger-side installation to protect your intake system from oil vapor contamination.
During normal operation, crankcase pressure is vented back into the intake tract. In forced induction engines like the 1.5L EcoBoost, this process often carries oil vapors that coat intake runners and valves, leading to carbon buildup and reduced octane levels. This oil separator intercepts those vapors using a sophisticated multistage filtration system. Vapors first pass through a fine mesh stainless steel screen before entering a 1/2-inch thick, 1/16-inch aluminum honeycomb filter, where droplets coalesce and fall into the reservoir.
Milled from solid billet aluminum, this unit features a black anodized finish and a knurled tank base for easy, tool-free draining. The tank includes an O-ring seal to ensure a leak-free vacuum environment.
