The J&L Oil Separator 3.0 is engineered to protect your 2.0L engine by intercepting oil vapors before they enter the intake tract. In modern PCV systems, crankcase pressure is vented back into the intake, which can coat the manifold runners and intake valves with oil, potentially diluting fuel octane levels. This driver-side separator captures those vapors using a multi-stage filtration process, ensuring only clean air passes through to the engine.

Constructed from solid billet aluminum, this unit features a 3oz reservoir with a knurled base for easy removal and draining during routine maintenance (recommended every 2,000–3,000 miles). The filtration system utilizes a fine stainless steel mesh screen followed by a 1/2-inch thick, 1/16-inch aluminum honeycomb filter to coalesce fine vapors into heavy droplets. Installation is straightforward with the included OEM-style quick-connect PCV fittings.
