The J&L Oil Separator 3.0 (MPN 3031P-B) is designed to capture oil vapors before they enter your intake tract, protecting your engine from carbon buildup and octane dilution. In forced induction engines, increased crankcase pressure forces oil mist through the PCV system; this separator intercepts that mist, ensuring only clean air reaches the intake manifold.
Constructed from solid billet aluminum, this 3.0 series separator features a sophisticated multi-stage filtration system. Vapors pass through a fine stainless steel mesh screen and then a 1/2-inch thick, 1/16-inch aluminum honeycomb filter. This design causes oil droplets to coalesce and drop into the 3 oz reservoir. The knurled tank base allows for easy, tool-free removal during maintenance, while the integrated O-ring ensures a secure, leak-free seal.
