Protect your intake system from oil vapor contamination with the J&L 3098D-C Oil Separator. During normal engine operation, crankcase pressure is vented back through the intake track. In forced induction and high-performance engines, this often carries large amounts of oil vapor that can coat intake manifold runners, accumulate in the intake tube, and even dilute your fuel to lower its effective octane level. This J&L separator captures those vapors before they reach the combustion chamber.

Milled from solid billet aluminum for maximum durability, this unit features a silver finish and a knurled tank base for easy, tool-free removal during maintenance. The multi-stage filtration system utilizes a fine mesh stainless steel screen to trap initial vapors, which then pass through a 1/2-inch thick, 1/16-inch aluminum honeycomb filter. This process forces oil droplets to coalesce and drop into the 3oz reservoir, allowing only clean air to return to the intake.
