The J&L 3.0 Oil Separator intercepts oil vapors from the crankcase before they can accumulate in your intake tube and manifold runners. By preventing these vapors from entering the combustion chamber, you reduce the risk of octane dilution and keep your intake system clean—a critical maintenance step for high-performance forced induction vehicles where crankcase pressures are elevated.
CNC-milled from solid billet aluminum, this separator features a multistage filtration system for maximum efficiency. It utilizes a fine mesh stainless steel screen to trap fine vapors, which then pass through a 1/2-inch thick, 1/16-inch aluminum honeycomb filter to coalesce into larger droplets. The 3 oz reservoir features a knurled base for easy removal and an O-ring seal to ensure a leak-free fit.
