Protect your intake tract and maintain fuel octane levels with the J&L 3.0 Oil Separator. During normal operation, crankcase pressure is vented back through the intake, carrying oil vapors that accumulate in the intake manifold and runners. This is particularly prevalent in forced induction engines like the EcoBoost, where increased crankcase pressures can lead to significant oil buildup and performance-robbing carbon deposits. The J&L 3.0 effectively captures these vapors before they reach the combustion chamber.

Milled from solid billet aluminum, this separator features a multistage filtration system. Vapors first pass through a fine mesh stainless steel screen to trap initial particulates, then through a 1/2-inch thick, 1/16-inch aluminum honeycomb filter where droplets coalesce and fall into the 3oz reservoir. The tank includes a knurled base for easy removal during service and an O-ring seal to ensure a leak-free system.
