The PERRIN Air Oil Separator (AOS) is an essential upgrade for the Subaru FA24 engine, designed to intercept oil vapor and moisture blow-by from the crankcase ventilation system before it reaches the intake tract. By preventing oil from coating the intercooler cores and intake valves, this system maintains cooling efficiency and helps prevent engine-damaging pre-detonation (knock) caused by lowered effective octane levels.
This AOS features a high-capacity canister that effectively separates oil from the air stream, returning the collected oil to the crankcase to maintain consistent lubricant levels. Finished in a durable black powder coat, it provides a clean, professional look under the hood while offering long-term corrosion resistance.
