The Skunk2 Replacement Thermal Throttle Body Gasket (MPN 309-99-0002) is a specialized heat-shielding component designed to replace standard paper or OE-style gaskets. By utilizing a high-temperature thermal polymer, this 68mm gasket creates a barrier that significantly reduces heat transfer from the intake manifold to the throttle body. Maintaining lower throttle body temperatures results in a cooler, denser intake charge for more consistent engine performance during spirited driving or track use.
