The Skunk2 Racing Thermal Intake Manifold Gasket (MPN 372-05-0290) is engineered as a high-performance replacement for the factory gasket, specifically designed to combat heat soak in Honda B-series engines. Using an advanced high-temperature thermal polymer, this gasket acts as a thermal barrier, significantly reducing the transfer of heat from the cylinder head into the intake manifold.
By keeping the intake manifold cooler, the incoming air remains denser and more oxygen-rich before reaching the combustion chamber.
