This JE Pistons FSR Series forged piston set (MPN 353840) is engineered for high-demand Volkswagen 2.0TSI applications requiring superior strength and reduced reciprocating mass. Machined 100% in the USA from high-tensile 2618 aluminum alloy, these pistons utilize a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design. This specialized forging profile reduces skirt width to minimize friction and rotational power loss while enabling the use of a shorter, lighter wrist pin for improved high-RPM stability.
