Engineered for high-output racing and performance street applications, this JE Pistons forged piston set is machined from 2618 T6 high-tensile aluminum to withstand the extreme pressures of forced induction. Utilizing a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design, these pistons minimize friction and mechanical power loss through a reduced skirt width while shedding rotating mass via a shorter, high-strength wrist pin.
Each piston features a precision-machined accumulator groove to manage combustion gas pressure, effectively reducing ring flutter and maintaining a superior ring seal for consistent power delivery. This 92.5mm bore set is designed specifically for the Subaru 79mm stroke, providing optimized geometry and durability. These pistons are forged and machined 100% in the USA and include JE Pro Seal premium rings for a complete installation.
