Designed to fit Injen X-1015 and X-1018 air filters, the Hydroshield (MPN 1034BLK) provides an essential layer of protection for high-performance intake systems. This pre-filter is engineered to divert water and debris before they reach your primary filter media, helping to maintain peak airflow and horsepower while extending the interval between filter cleanings.
Constructed from a proprietary base media, the Hydroshield is treated with a hydrophobic water-repellant to shed moisture during inclement weather or under-hood exposure. The material is UV resistant and puncture resistant, featuring elastic properties that ensure it returns to its original shape after servicing. It is fine enough to stop contaminants as small as .005" without significantly restricting the engine's intake breathability.
