Engineered for the Injen X-1058 air filter and compatible universal applications, the Injen Hydroshield (1032BLK) provides an essential layer of protection against moisture and debris. This black pre-filter is designed to improve the efficiency of SuperNano-Web and 8-layer oiled cotton gauze filters by diverting damaging contaminants before they reach the primary media, effectively extending service intervals and maintaining peak airflow.
The Hydroshield is manufactured from a proprietary base media treated with a hydrophobic water-repellent coating. This UV-resistant and puncture-resistant material features high elasticity, allowing it to return to its original shape after servicing. While not completely waterproof, it effectively repels water splashes and filters out contaminants down to .005 inches, shielding your intake system from the elements that compromise horsepower and engine health.
