The ATS Diesel Governor Pressure Solenoid Block Conversion Kit is engineered to resolve one of the most common failure points in Dodge 47RE and 48RE automatic transmissions. The factory governor pressure solenoid is notorious for clogging and failing under high pressure, leading to erratic shifting, shuttle shifting, or a transmission that gets stuck in limp mode. This kit converts the system to utilize a more robust solenoid design, providing consistent pressure readings and significantly improved shifting reliability.
