The PERRIN Lightweight Alternator Pulley is designed to reduce rotational mass and parasitic drag on your Subaru engine. By replacing the heavy factory steel pulley with this CNC-machined aluminum component, you decrease the effort required for the engine to spin the alternator, resulting in noticeably faster throttle response and improved engine acceleration across the powerband. Weighing significantly less than the OEM counterpart, it provides a functional performance upgrade without compromising charging system reliability.
