The OMP KS-1 Pro Body Protection (KK0-0049-A02-178-L) provides elite-level rib and chest safety specifically engineered for competitive karting. Developed to comply with the FIA 8870-2018 homologation standards, this protector balances rigid impact resistance with the flexibility required for precision steering and driver comfort.
- Impact Absorption: Features a 6mm internal layer of shock-absorbing padding to dampen vibrations and dissipate heavy lateral loads during high-G cornering.
- Construction: Built with a rigid polycarbonate outer shell designed to prevent rib compression and bruising without adding excessive bulk under a racing suit.
- Adjustable Fit: Equipped with adjustable shoulder and side straps to ensure the protector stays securely positioned against the ribs and sternum.
