Standard OE caps are often unequipped to handle the increased heat and pressure of a modified engine, leading to premature coolant discharge into the overflow reservoir. By increasing system pressure to 1.3 bar (19 psi), this cap effectively raises the boiling point of your coolant, providing a larger thermal margin and preventing boil-over. The integrated high-grade silicone gaskets offer superior durability and a more reliable seal than standard rubber, resisting cracking and heat-cycling degradation over time.
