During aggressive driving or track sessions, cooling system pressures can exceed the limits of a standard OE cap, leading to coolant loss through the overflow reservoir. This high-pressure radiator cap raises the boiling point of your engine coolant by increasing the system pressure to 1.3 bar (19 psi). By keeping the coolant under higher pressure, the system operates more efficiently and maintains thermal stability even under heavy load.
