The McLeod Oilite Pilot Bushing is engineered to maintain precise alignment between the engine crankshaft and the transmission input shaft. This self-lubricating pilot bushing is manufactured from vacuum-impregnated Oilite bronze, which provides a consistent oil film to reduce friction and prevent input shaft galling. This is a critical component for manual transmission swaps or clutch service, ensuring smooth engagement and protecting the input shaft bearing from vibration-induced wear.
