The McLeod Racing aluminum hydraulic throwout (T.O.) bearing spacer is engineered specifically for 2004-2007 Cadillac CTS-V applications undergoing a clutch conversion. When removing the factory dual-mass flywheel and clutch assembly to install a single-mass flywheel—in either single-disc or twin-disc configurations—this spacer is required to bring the OEM hydraulic slave cylinder into the correct specification relative to the pressure plate fingers.
Precision machined to maintain exact tolerances, this spacer ensures proper clutch air gap and pedal feel by compensating for the different stack height of aftermarket clutch setups. It installs directly behind the slave cylinder to provide the necessary reach for reliable engagement and disengagement.
