Fits select 1993-2011 Subaru Baja, Forester, Impreza, Legacy, and Outback models including WRX and 2.5i variants.
Protect your engine's bottom end with the ARP EJ Series Press Fit Rod Bolt Kit. Factory rod bolts are a known weak point in EJ-series engines, especially when subjected to higher RPMs or increased boost levels. This kit replaces OE hardware with high-strength fasteners designed to prevent rod cap stretch and catastrophic bearing failure.
Each bolt is manufactured from 8740 chrome moly steel and heat-treated to a 200,000 psi tensile strength. ARP utilizes a proprietary process where threads are rolled after the heat-treatment phase, resulting in significantly improved fatigue strength compared to lower-cost fasteners. These bolts are a direct press-fit replacement for the factory hardware in EJ connecting rods.
