Fits BMW manual gearboxes equipped with non-threaded shifter rods.
Designed to expand your interior customization options, the Mishimoto non-threaded shifter adapter converts the standard BMW push-on shift lever into a threaded mount compatible with Mishimoto universal shift knobs. This adapter is CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring a precision fit that handles the mechanical stress of spirited shifting without loosening or vibrating.
Installation is straightforward and secure. The adapter features a female receiver that slides over the factory BMW shifter rod, locking into place via stainless-steel set screws. To prevent hardware from backing out over time, the included set screws come with pre-applied threadlocker. Mishimoto also includes a zip tie to secure your factory shift boot to the adapter base for a clean, professional-looking interior finish. Like all Mishimoto components, this adapter (MMSK-ADAP-BMWSL) is covered by a Lifetime Warranty.
