The Kartboy Short Shifter and Bushing Combo is engineered to transform the shifting dynamics of your Subaru by reducing throw and eliminating the vague, rubbery feel of the factory assembly. This kit replaces the OEM shift lever with a CNC-machined unit designed to shorten shift travel by approximately 40%, allowing for faster and more confident gear transitions.
To further sharpen shifter response, this combo includes high-durometer polyurethane bushings. These replace the compliant factory rubber bushings in the shifter stay, removing excess lateral play and providing a firm, mechanical engagement. This is a direct bolt-on upgrade that installs into the factory shifter housing without the need for permanent vehicle modifications.
