The ICON Vehicle Specific (V.S.) 2.0 HD Series shock absorbers are engineered to provide heavy-duty damping performance for both daily driving and off-road use. Designed specifically for the demands of 3/4-ton and 1-ton GM trucks, these shocks feature a remote reservoir that significantly increases oil volume and surface area for heat dissipation, preventing oil cavitation and shock fade during sustained hard use. The HD series is distinguished by its hard-anodized 6061 aluminum cylinders featuring increased wall thickness and taller DU bearings, which provide superior resistance to side-load and pull-apart forces compared to standard 2.0 aluminum series shocks.

Internally, a linear/digressive piston design ensures precise valving for controlled handling on the pavement and compliant travel on the trail. Each shock is fully rebuildable and revalveable, ensuring a long service life and the ability to tune the suspension to your specific load requirements.
