This system replaces the restrictive factory intake elbow and the failure-prone stock grid heater. By swapping the factory heater—which uses a mounting bolt known to vibrate loose and fall into the engine—with the Banks high-flow intake plate and coil heater, you eliminate the risk of severe internal damage while significantly increasing air volume.

The Monster-Ram outflows the stock intake by 88.3%, optimizing air pressure and distribution to the cylinders. This improved flow reduces turbine drive pressure and allows for quicker throttle response and better fuel efficiency.
