The BLOX Racing Block Guard (BXPT-10200) is a critical upgrade for high-performance B-Series engines, providing essential reinforcement to the engine's open-deck design. Fits select 1994-2001 Acura Integra and Honda Civic models (1.6L / 1.8L DOHC VTEC).
By bridging the gap between the cylinder sleeves and the block deck, this component prevents sleeve "walking" and cracking that often occurs under high boost or extreme cylinder pressures. It is CNC-machined for a precise fit within the water jacket and features engineered coolant passages to maintain thermal efficiency and prevent hot spots. This is a must-have for forced induction builds or high-compression naturally aspirated racing engines where block integrity is paramount.
