Reinforce your engine block for high-performance use with the Supertech Block Guard (BG-K20), specifically designed for Honda K20 series engines. In high-boost or high-RPM applications, the factory open-deck design of the K20 block can allow for "cylinder walk," where the sleeves shift under extreme cylinder pressure. This movement can lead to head gasket failure and improper ring seating.
Precision CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, this block guard is press-fit into the top of the water jacket to stabilize the cylinder sleeves and maintain bore roundness. Supertech incorporates strategic coolant bypass holes to ensure consistent cooling and prevent hotspots during operation.
