The Supertech BG-S2000 Block Guard is a critical engine reinforcement for high-performance F-Series builds. By converting the factory open-deck block into a semi-closed deck, this component provides essential support to the upper cylinder walls. This reinforcement significantly reduces cylinder sleeve walk and vibration, which are common failure points in high-boost or high-compression naturally aspirated applications.
Precision CNC-machined from high-strength aluminum, this block guard is designed for a precise press-fit into the engine's water jacket. Supertech engineers the guard with strategically placed coolant passages to ensure that while the cylinder walls are stabilized, the engine maintains optimal thermal transfer and cooling efficiency across all four cylinders.
