The Prothane 6-1703-BL Front Coil Spring Isolator is designed to replace soft, worn-out factory rubber components that degrade over time. In a performance or high-mileage suspension system, rubber isolators often compress or dry-rot, leading to metal-on-metal contact and increased noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH). This polyurethane isolator provides a durable, firm seat for the coil spring, maintaining proper ride height and suspension alignment.
