This makes 321 SS highly recommended for high-heat forced induction applications, turbo manifolds, and downpipes. Beyond heat tolerance, 321 stainless steel provides superior resistance to intergranular corrosion and maintains structural integrity under high tensile stress, significantly reducing the risk of stress fractures compared to standard alloys.
