This Vibrant 321 Stainless Steel 90-degree mandrel bend is engineered for high-heat environments where standard 304 stainless might fail. Designed specifically for sustained operating temperatures between 800°F and 1500°F (427°C to 816°C), this tubing is ideal for forced induction exhaust systems, turbo manifolds, and downpipes. The addition of titanium in the 321 alloy provides superior resistance to intergranular corrosion and withstands tensile stress better than 304, reducing the risk of stress fractures during extreme heat cycles.
Each piece is precision mandrel-bent to maintain a consistent cross-sectional area, ensuring maximum exhaust flow and minimal turbulence. The 18-gauge wall thickness provides a lightweight yet durable profile for custom fabrication projects.
