The Skyjacker 9007 Steering Damper Kit is engineered to restore front-end stability and improve steering feel on your heavy-duty truck. By replacing a weak or worn-out factory unit, this dampening shock effectively absorbs the harsh vibrations and "steering shimmy" often caused by the increased rotating mass of oversized off-road tires and wheels. It reduces the physical feedback transmitted through the steering wheel, significantly decreasing driver fatigue during long highway hauls or while navigating technical off-road terrain.
