Fits select 1986-2006 Jeep Cherokee XJ, Comanche MJ, Grand Cherokee ZJ, and Wrangler TJ/LJ with factory Dana 30 or 44 front differential housings.

The RockJock Front Axle Housing Johnny Joint Kit is engineered to replace the factory rubber upper control arm bushings with high-articulation 2-inch Johnny Joint rod ends. This conversion allows your suspension to cycle through its full range of motion without the binding or resistance inherent in OE bushings. The kit includes a specialized Johnny Joint insert for the gear case ear and a 1-inch thick flame-cut steel upright for the axle tube side.

To protect the integrity of your axle, the tube-side bracket is designed to be welded to the existing factory bracket base rather than directly to the axle tube. This installation method prevents tube warpage and ensures a secure, high-strength mount. Both joints feature greasable hardware for long-term serviceability and quiet operation.
