The Hotchkis Sport Suspension Chassis Max Brace (part number 20104) addresses a critical weak point in the fifth-generation Camaro platform: rear subframe movement. Under hard acceleration or high-speed cornering, the factory chassis suffers from significant flex, which manifests as traction-robbing wheel hop and unstable handling. This brace triangulates the rear subframe to the chassis frame rails, significantly increasing rigidity to improve steering responsiveness and power delivery.
Engineered for durability and performance, the Chassis Max Brace is manufactured from high-strength, lightweight elliptical aluminum tubing. This tubing is mated to laser-cut, CNC-machined aluminum brackets for precise fitment. The assembly features a durable anthracite powder-coated finish for corrosion resistance and is designed to maintain excellent ground clearance while remaining compatible with most aftermarket exhaust systems. This is a direct bolt-on upgrade that installs in minutes using factory mounting points.
