The Progress Tech 25mm Rear Sway Bar is engineered to significantly improve the handling and chassis balance of the CT9A platform. By increasing roll stiffness, this solid alloy steel bar minimizes body lean during cornering, ensuring the tires remain flatter against the pavement for a larger, more stable contact patch. This upgrade effectively reduces the understeer common in factory-spec AWD systems, providing sharper turn-in and increased driver confidence.
Each Progress Tech sway bar is cold-formed in-house using precision CNC bending equipment. The laser-cut and CNC-machined ends are MIG-welded using precise fixtures to ensure a perfect bolt-on fit to the factory mounting points. The kit includes hardened polyurethane bushings to replace the compliant OE rubber, further sharpening steering response and reducing deflection.
