The DEI Fire Sleeve and Tape Kit (MPN 10470) provides professional-grade thermal insulation and abrasion resistance for critical automotive fluid lines and electrical systems. This kit is designed to solve the problem of heat-related damage to fuel, transmission, and brake lines. The sleeve is constructed from a high-temperature resistant braided fiberglass material that is heavily coated with 100% iron oxide silicone rubber to provide a robust thermal barrier in extreme engine bay environments.
This kit is ideal for protecting and bundling wiring, hoses, and lines. It includes 16 inches of black Fire Tape—a self-adhering, adhesive-free tape—to secure the ends of the sleeve for a clean, professional finish. The material offers enough flexibility to allow for a 1/16-inch to 1/8-inch stretch to accommodate various fittings.
- Temperature Rating: Withstands 500°F continuous and 2000°F intermittent heat.
- Fitment: Compatible with -3AN, -4AN, and -6AN lines (Note: -6AN provides a tight fit).
- Construction: Braided glass material with heavy iron oxide silicone rubber coating.
