DEI Heat Sheath (MPN 10420) is a professional-grade thermal barrier designed to protect critical lines, hoses, and wiring from heat-related failure and abrasion. This 1-1/2" I.D. sleeving features a high-temperature fabric bonded to a reflective aluminized surface, providing a robust defense against extreme engine bay temperatures, chemical exposure, and road debris. The pliable construction allows the sleeve to follow tight bends without kinking, making it an ideal solution for protecting fuel lines, brake lines, and wiring harnesses in high-performance applications.
- Thermal Performance: Withstands up to 500°F of direct, continuous heat and up to 2000°F of radiant heat.
- Construction: High-temperature fabric bonded to an aluminized material with a durable sewn edge.
- Durability: Fireproof and resistant to oil spills, grease, dirt, and road grime.
- Installation: Designed to slide over hoses or cables; can be easily trimmed to the exact length required.
- Dimensions: 1-1/2" Inside Diameter (I.D.) by 3ft length.
NOTE: Do not apply this product directly to exhaust components. Heat Sheath is designed for use on components that require protection from heat sources, not as an exhaust wrap.
