The DEI Heat Sheath provides critical thermal and abrasion protection for wires, cables, and hoses in high-temperature environments. This 1/2-inch I.D. sleeve is engineered from 19 oz high-temperature glass fiber insulation bonded to a reflective aluminized outer layer. This construction allows the sleeve to reflect up to 2000°F of radiant heat while withstanding 500°F of direct contact heat. The sewn edges are reinforced with aramid thread to ensure durability and flame resistance even under extreme conditions.
Designed for a clean, professional finish, this slide-on sleeving remains pliable for tight bends and protects sensitive lines from oil, grease, and road grime. Installation is straightforward: simply unhook the line or hose, trim the 3ft sleeve to your desired length, and slide it over the component. This product is ideal for fuel lines, wiring looms, and brake lines that require a heat-reflective barrier.
