Fits select 2004-2018 Mazda (3, 5, Miata), Ford (Focus, Fusion, Escape, Explorer, Taurus), and Lincoln (MKC, MKT, MKZ) models.
The Mishimoto MMTS-MAZ-04 racing thermostat is engineered to improve cooling efficiency by significantly lowering the activation temperature of your vehicle's cooling system. While the stock thermostat waits for higher temperatures to engage, this Mishimoto unit begins opening at 68°C (154.4°F), which is 14°C (25.2°F) earlier than the factory equipment. This allows coolant to circulate through the radiator sooner, helping to maintain lower overall engine temperatures during high-load driving or track sessions.
This kit includes an OEM-quality thermostat housing to ensure a precise, leak-free fit and simplifies the installation process. Like all Mishimoto thermostats, this part is backed by a Lifetime Warranty, providing long-term reliability for your performance cooling setup.
