Designed for high-performance driving and demanding conditions, this thermostat facilitates greater cooling efficiency by significantly reducing engine temperatures. While the factory thermostat is calibrated to open at 205°F (96.1°C), the Mishimoto unit activates at just 177°F (80.5°C).
By opening at a lower temperature, this thermostat allows coolant to flow through the system earlier, helping maintain a more consistent and lower operating temperature. This is a direct-fit replacement for the OE unit and is ideal for vehicles used in heavy traffic, autocross, or high-load environments.
